Persimmon Plc ("the Company") - Transfer of Shares held in Treasury

Persimmon Plc announces that on 13 February 2012 it transferred 11,714 Ordinary Shares held in Treasury to participants in the Persimmon Plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme 1998 to satisfy the exercise of options at £3.26. 

Following these transfers the Company holds 262,307 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in Treasury and the Company's issued share capital is 302,329,124 Ordinary Shares (excluding Treasury Shares).
