Dividend Declaration
The Board of Personal Assets Trust plc has today declared a first interim
dividend for the year ended 30 April 2008 of £2.25 per share. The dividend will
be paid on 26 October 2007 to shareholders on the register on 5 October 2007.
The ex-dividend date will be 3 October 2007.
The Board's stated dividend policy is to grow the present dividend rate in real
terms and never cut the dividend rate, so shareholders know that each
half-yearly payment will at least equal the previous one. Therefore, the second
interim dividend for the year ended 30 April 2008, expected to be paid in April
2008, will be at least £2.25 per share and the total dividend for the year will
be not less than £4.50 (2007: £4.10).
