ISSUE OF EQUITY

On 10 March 2010 Personal Assets Trust plc issued 1,356 of its Ordinary shares of £12.50 at a price of £292.00 per share from its various block listings. 

The Company's issued share capital consists of 810,268 Ordinary shares, of which there are no shares held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of shares with voting rights in Personal Assets Trust plc is 810,268.

The above figure (810,268) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Personal Assets Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
