ISSUE OF EQUITY

Personal Assets Trust plc (the "Company") announces that it has allotted and issued, conditional only on admission to listing on the UKLA's Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange, a further 1,300 Ordinary shares of £12.50 each at a price of £311 per share.  It is expected that the new shares will be admitted to listing and to trading at 8.00 a.m. on 14 December 2010. Following this issue, the Company will have 897,498 Ordinary shares in issue.
