ISSUE OF EQUITY

Personal Assets Trust plc (the "Company") announces it has allotted and issued, conditional only on admission to listing on the UKLA's Official List and to trading on the London Stock Exchange, a further 2,000 Ordinary Shares of £12.50 each at a price of £329.80 per share.  It is expected that the new shares will be admitted to listing and to trading at 8:00 a.m. on 28 September 2011.  Following this issue, the Company will have 1,115,998 Ordinary shares in issue.
