ISSUE OF EQUITY

On 30 July 2014 Personal Assets Trust plc (the "Company") issued 780 of its Ordinary shares of £12.50 held in Treasury at a price of £339.50 each and 1,500 of its Ordinary shares of £12.50 held in Treasury at a price of £338.70 each. 

The Company's issued share capital consists of 1,747,584 Ordinary shares, of which 31,270 Ordinary shares are held in Treasury. Therefore, the total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is 1,716,314.

The above figure (1,716,314) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Personal Assets Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
