The board of Personal Assets Trust plc announces the number of shares issued
during June 2005 :-

There were 723,945 shares in issue as at 30 June 2005.  This gives a market

 * 55,612 shares were issued in relation to the scheme of reconstruction of
Collective     Assets Trust plc.  The remaining shares were issued under the
