The board of Personal Assets Trust plc announces the number of shares issued
during October/November 2005 :-

*These shares have been issued under the Company's various block listings.  The
Company also bought back 345 Ordinary Shares on 28 November 2005 at a price of
£240.75 per share. These shares will be held in Treasury.



There were 733,530 shares in issue as at 30 November 2005.  This gives a market
capitalisation of £178.1m, based on a closing mid-price of £242.75.
