Personal Group Holdings plc announces that it was today informed by Royal London
Asset Management that the Royal London Long Term Fund (registered in the name of
Refuge Assurance PLC) disposed of 1,100,000 shares at a price of 128 pence per
share on 8 May 2003.



Following the above disposal, Royal London Asset Management now holds 2,243,480
shares in the Company representing approximately 7.34 per cent. of the issued
share capital.
