Contract Wins
Petards, the AIM quoted developer of advanced security, communication and surveillance systems, announces that has received orders totalling in excess of £0.75 million for Petards eyeTrain software and support services, and QRO ANPR systems.
Petards Joyce-Loebl (PJL) has received orders worth over £0.5 million from two train builders; the first for eyeTrain software upgrades and the second, for the renewal of an annual service level agreement. Around 25% of the related revenues are expected to be delivered in the current financial year, with the balance scheduled for next year weighted towards the first half of 2025.
The software upgrades will add additional functionality to the Petards eyeTrain Automatic Selective Door Operation (ASDO) smart train door solution already utilised by the train builder's end customer.
The renewed annual service level agreement commences this month and is for a UK train fleet maintained by the train builder, for which Petards eyeTrain systems were installed as part of the train fleet's original equipment.
The QRO order is for the supply and installation its NASBox roadside ANPR systems worth over £0.25 million under a framework agreement with a UK police force. The order is scheduled to be delivered and installed during the current financial year.
Raschid Abdullah, Chairman of Petards Group plc said:
"We are delighted to have received these orders, and that these Petards developed technologies have been selected by our customers to deliver safety, efficiency and operational benefits to the UK's rail and road networks."
