SCREEN PLC:
BOARD CHANGE AND SENIOR MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENT
Screen Plc ('Screen' or the 'Group'), the AIM listed provider of advanced
security, transport and defence systems, announced yesterday that Michael
Williams, an Executive Director of Screen plc and Managing Director of
subsidiary Petards Vision had resigned to pursue other career interests outside
of the Group.
Commenting, Adrian Merryman, Screen, Chief Executive Officer, said:
'I wish Michael every success in the future and thank him for his contribution
to the Group over the past eleven years.'
At the same time, Screen announces that Malcolm Wright has been appointed
Managing Director of Petards Vision. Malcolm was previously Managing Director of
Screen subsidiary Pentyre Limited prior to its merger with Vision in January
2002.
Said Mr Merryman:
'Having previously served as both Screen's Chief Technology Office and Technical
Director of Vision, Malcolm has an excellent understanding of the technological
and commercial market forces within the security and surveillance arena. He is
therefore well placed to continue to drive the Vision business forward,
particularly in the area of the large-scale and more bespoke project
opportunities that are now emerging for us.'
