                 Petards Group plc ('Petards' or 'the Company')

                         Update re. 2004 Group Accounts


Further to the statement made by the Company on 25 November 2005, the Board now
expects to publish the restated 2004 Report & Accounts by the close of business
on 14 December 2005 and, following confirmation of such publication to AIM, the
Board expects that trading in the Company's shares will re-commence on the
business day following such confirmation.
