Petards Group plc ('Petards' or 'the Company')
Update re. 2004 Group Accounts
Further to the statement made by the Company on 7 October 2005, the Board of
Petards, the AIM quoted developer of advanced surveillance systems, has the
following update regarding the review into accounting discrepancies discovered
at one of its subsidiaries, Joyce-Loebl Ltd, that led to its decision to
withdraw the Group accounts for year ended 31 December 2004.
The review has been completed and the Board expects to announce both the
restated results of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2004 and the
interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2005, on 7 December 2005.
Further, the Board expects to publish the restated 2004 Report & Accounts on 12
December 2005 and, following confirmation of such publication to AIM, the Board
expects that trading in the Company's shares will re-commence on 13 December
2005.
