PETRA DIAMONDS LIMITED ('THE COMPANY')



Benjamin Trisk has resigned from the board of Petra Diamonds with immediate
effect. He has also resigned from the boards of all other group companies and
ceases to be an executive of the Company.



Mr Trisk has resigned to pursue other interests, and the board would like to
thank him for all his efforts on behalf of the Company
