Update on Nabera Mining (Pty) Ltd


Shareholders will be aware that Nabera Mining (Pty) Ltd, in which your Company
has a 29.5% equity interest, has been waiting for a final report from Snowden
Mining Industry Consultants, the independent Competent Person tasked with
establishing the quantum of the value that Nabera Mining (Pty) Ltd added to the
Alexkor Diamond Mine during its two year tenure from 17 May 1999 to 17 May 2001.
Snowden has tabled a Draft Report, which has been circulated to the
shareholders in Nabera as well as Alexkor and government personnel.  Snowden is
waiting for comment from the interested parties before submitting its Final
Report.
