                           PMDR/DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING



The Company was notified on 20 December by Mr John Snyder, a Non-Executive
Director in the Company, that Snyder Family Investments, L.P. had sold 300,000
SOCO International plc ordinary shares of £0.20 each ('Shares'), representing
0.41% of the issued share capital of the Company, at a price of £14.3838 per
Share. Following this transaction, Snyder Family Investments, L.P., which is
owned by Mr Snyder and other partnerships and trusts of which Mr Snyder and
members of his family are owners and/or beneficiaries, continues to hold an
interest in 200,000 Shares, representing 0.27% of the issued share capital of
the Company.
