Awards under the Company's Discretionary Share Option Plan

The Company announces under the SOCO International plc Discretionary Share Option Plan ('DSOP'), an award of 150,000 options to acquire ordinary shares of £0.05 in the Company ('Shares') was made to Mr Antony Maris, a PDMR of the Company, on 14 September 2012, at an option price of £3.325 which at the time of the award was the market price of the Shares at the last closing.  Under DSOP rules, awards are potentially exercisable from the third anniversary to the tenth anniversary of the date of grant.
