                               NOTICE OF RESULTS


SOCO International, the FTSE 250 international oil and gas exploration and
production company with interests in Vietnam, Yemen, Thailand, Cabinda, the
Republic of Congo (Brazzaville) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa),
will be announcing its preliminary results for the year ending 31 December 2007
on Wednesday 26 March 2008.
