                               NOTICE OF RESULTS

SOCO International plc, an international oil and gas exploration and production
company with interests in Vietnam, Yemen, Thailand, the Republic of Congo
(Brazzaville) and the Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa), will be
announcing its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December, 2006 on
Thursday 15 March, 2007.
