Contract Wins

PHSC plc Contract Wins PHSC plc ("the Company"), the provider of health, safety and environmental services to corporate and public sector clients, announces that important new contracts have been won by two of its wholly-owned subsidiaries. RSA Environmental Health Ltd (RSA) has been instructed by the London Borough of Bromley to carry out a survey programme to include 100 schools across the Borough. The project requires RSA to undertake an accurate condition and measured survey (to include AutoCAD plans) of all the areas and spaces related to the delivery, provision, preparation and consumption of school meals. The survey will help the London Borough of Bromley to devise a suitable strategy regarding the improvement of physical resources so that more pupils have access to school meals and places to eat together. The project is worth a total of £67,800 in revenue to the Company, and will be completed by the beginning of July 2007. Adamson's Laboratory Services (ALS) has been instructed by ISG plc to assist with work in connection with the decontamination of lift shafts at Shell Tower. This work will generate revenues of £120,000. At the same premises, but working directly for Shell Real Estate, ALS will undertake a Type 3 asbestos survey of the basement and sub-basement areas valued at £75,000. The directors of the Company anticipate that substantial additional revenues will follow on from further contracts as refurbishment of the whole premises progresses. Separately, ALS has been awarded a contract valued at £105,000 to carry out a Type 3 survey at a top London hotel. Note to editors: A Type 3 asbestos survey involves intrusive assessment of materials with full access sampling and identification, pre-demolition or major refurbishment.
