In accordance with the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules, PHSC plc announces that its issued share
capital consists of 11,657,296 ordinary shares of 10p each with voting rights.

This follows the recent placement of new ordinary shares by PHSC plc.

No ordinary shares are held in treasury.

The above figure of 11,657,296 may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by
which they will determine if they are required to notify their interests in, or a change to their
interest in, PHSC plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
