                              Board Streamlining


Pendragon today announces the appointment of Martin Casha, currently Joint
Operations Director, as Chief Operating Officer of Pendragon. Mr Casha assumes
responsibility for all Group operations, including Pendragon's Ford
businesses, previously held in a joint venture and acquired on 2 November
pursuant to the transaction announced by Pendragon on 17 October 2001. Stephen
Hopewell, who was Chief Executive of the Ford joint venture company and Joint
Operations Director of Pendragon, resigns from both positions and leaves the
Group.


These changes take effect immediately.
