PENDRAGON PLC ('PENDRAGON')

The Directors of Pendragon announce that they were today informed that the
Guinness Flight Trustees, the Trustee of the Pendragon qualifying employee share
ownership trust, acquired 490,460 ordinary shares in Pendragon, representing
0.80% of the issued share capital of Pendragon at a price of 125 pence per
share.
