                      PENDRAGON DISPOSES OF NORTH LONDON
                                FORD DEALERSHIPS




Pendragon, the largest UK motor car dealer has completed the sale of its Ford
North London market area.  The dealerships in Potters Bar, Highbury and Edgware
Road have been sold to Polar Motor Group.  The dealerships will now trade as
Dagenham Motors.



Commenting on the disposal, Trevor Finn (Chief Executive Officer) said:



'This disposal forms a significant part of the restructuring plan for our Ford
dealerships.  We will continue to focus our resources on the improvement of our
Ford business and expect further progress throughout this year'.
