The issuer has made the following amendment to the Holding in Company
announcement released on 26th September at 07:05am under RNS No 6090K.

This announcement is to correct the name of the owner of the notifiable 
interest, which is Eaglet Investment Trust plc not HSBC Global Custody Nominees 
Limited.  All other details remain the same.

On 25th September 2001 Eaglet Investment Trust notified the Board of Pendragon 
that as result of a transaction on 21st September 2001 it holds a notifiable 
interest in the ordinary shares of Pendragon, namely 1,815,101 shares 
representing 3.026% of the total issued share capital of Pendragon.
