Pittards plc ("Pittards" or "the Company"), the specialist producer of technically advanced leather and luxury leather goods for sale to retailers, manufacturers and distributors, announces that on 23 February 2010 it was informed that Reginald Hankey (chief executive) transferred 4,000,000 shares into his SIPP. 

Following the deal Mr Hankey is interested in 4,781,719 shares in the Company representing approximately 1.11 per cent. of total shares in issue.
