Pittards plc announces it was today informed that Mr John Buckley, Group
Financial Director, purchased 776 shares in the Company at a price of 44.2 pence
per share on 6 May 2004. Mr Buckley is now interested in 71,467 shares in the
Company representing approximately 0.323 per cent. of the issued share capital.
