Pittards is pleased to announce that it was informed today that Mr R Hankey, a
Director of the Company, purchased 2,450 ordinary 25p shares in the Company at
49p each on 14 December 1999 and that his wife, Mrs G Hankey, purchased 1,500
ordinary 25p shares in the Company at 49p each on 14 December 1999. As a
result of the two purchases, Mr Hankey is deemed to be interested in 38,950
ordinary 25p shares in the Company, representing approximately 0.18 per cent.
of the entire issued ordinary share capital.
