Notice of resignation of director

Pittards plc, the specialist producer of technically advanced leather and luxury leather goods for sale to retailers, manufacturers and distributors, announces that Jill Williams has notified the board of her intention to resign from her position as Finance Director after eight years' service in this role and 26 years with the company.

 
Jill will remain in post through 2016 until such time as a suitable successor can be recruited and for a period afterwards in order to ensure an orderly transition. She will then become a non-executive director.

Reg Hankey, Chief Executive, commented: "The board would like to express its appreciation to Jill for her valuable contribution to the Group as Finance Director during the last eight years.  This was a pivotal time in the history of Pittards and we are delighted that we are able to retain her experience on the board as a non-executive director as we enter a new strategic phase. The search for her successor is now underway."
