                   Acquisition from Eden Bioscience completed


Plant Health Care plc ('Plant Health Care' or 'the Group'), one of the leading
providers of natural products to the agriculture and landscaping industries,
announces that it has today completed the acquisition of the majority of assets
of NASDAQ listed, Eden Bioscience Corporation ('Eden'), announced on 4 December
2006. Completion follows the approval of the sale by Eden's shareholders on 26
February 2007 and all closing conditions have been satisfied accordingly.

our strategy to build a significant agricultural division extending throughout
the US, into Mexico and across Europe.'
