Pre-close Trading Update
Playtech (LSE: PTEC), the international designer, developer, licensor and provider of software and services for the online, mobile, TV and land-based gaming industry, today announces the following pre-close trading update for the three month period ended 30 June 2013.
To date in the second quarter, traditionally a quieter period, trading has continued in line with expectations and slightly ahead of the 10% reported to the market on 25 April. Management continues to be confident of achieving its financial objectives for the year.
Following the Company's move to a Premium Listing on the Main Market, Playtech states that it no longer will be reporting Q2 and Q4 KPIs, reverting to the standard practice of reporting interim and full year results with intervening interim management statements and pre-close trading statements.
Playtech's interim results for 2013 and a trading update are expected to be announced on Thursday, 29 August.
