Q4 2007 Key Performance Indicators
Playtech (AIM: PTEC), the international designer, developer and licensor of
software for the online, mobile and land-based gaming industry, announces today
Key Performance Indicators for the quarter ended 31 December 2007.
The fourth quarter exceeded management expectations. The Group registered
progressive month on month revenue growth. The Board is highly confident
regarding the Company's trading performance for 2008.
For ease of comparison all 2006 revenues exclude contributions from the US from
where the Company's licensees withdrew over a year ago.
Financial Highlights
•Revenues for the quarter totalling $32.7 million representing an increase
of 101% on the $16.3 million in Q4 2006 (Q3 2007 $26.9 million):
- Casino revenues totalled $22.9 million, an increase of 72% from $13.4 million
in Q4 2006 (Q3 2007 $19.2million)
- Poker revenues totalled $9.4 million, an increase of 265% from $2.6 million in
Q4 2006 (Q3 2007 $7.5 million)
•Revenues from Asian facing licensees during the period grew by 20% from
Q3 2007 and revenues from European licensees grew by 23%, giving overall
growth of 22% on the third quarter
