Plus500 extends its successful partnership with Atlético Madrid Football Club as Main Sponsor

Plus500 Ltd., a leading online service provider for retail customers to trade CFDs internationally, is pleased to announce that it has extended its official main sponsorship agreement with Club Atlético de Madrid, SAD, for the 2018/2019, 2019/2020 and 2020/2021 seasons with both parties actively considering extending the relationship further. Plus500 first became the Official Main Sponsor of Atlético Madrid in January 2015 and the collaboration to date has been very successful for both parties, with a strong footprint in Europe and globally.

Plus500 will continue to enjoy a range of branding rights, such as having the Plus500 logo featured on the official jersey and training shirts of the first team as well as a host of other sponsorship benefits at the stunning new 68,000 capacity Wanda Metropolitano stadium in Madrid, which meets the highest standards of comfort, security and visibility, and will host the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final.   

Atlético Madrid is a Spanish professional football club based in Madrid that plays in LaLiga Santander, commonly known as 'La Liga', which is the top professional association football division in Spain. The club has won ten La Liga titles, and the Copa del Rey on ten occasions along with other Spanish cup competitions. It is also one of the most successful clubs in Europe, including winning the UEFA Super Cup in 2010 and 2012, and coming second in the 2013/14 and 2015/16 UEFA Champions League.     

According to UEFA, La Liga has been the strongest league in Europe over the past seven years. In addition, it is one of the most popular professional sports leagues and watched around the world.
