Placing Programme

Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc ("the Company") published its Annual Report and Financial Statements for the year ended 31 November 2021 on 10 March 2022 and the current placing programme established by the prospectus published by the Company on 12 May 2021 is due to terminate on 11 May 2022. 

Only two months of the placing programme remain unexpired during which the Company will in any event be able to issue up to 21,897,893 ordinary shares under the shareholder authorities obtained at the General Meeting held on 1 February 2022 (together with any further ordinary shares authorised by renewal of such authorities at the Company's Annual General Meeting to be held on Thursday, 7 April 2022). The Directors have accordingly decided not to publish a supplementary prospectus that would otherwise be required to incorporate financial information extracted from the Annual Report and Financial Statements . As a result, the placing programme will terminate with immediate effect. The Company will in due course give consideration to the issue of a further prospectus and the creation of a new placing programme, subject to prevailing market conditions; any such further prospectus would include such financial information.
