Publication of Prospectus and Circular

Further to the announcement this morning regarding the Placing, Open Offer, Offer for Subscription and Intermediaries Offer for a target issue of 100 million C Shares (together the "Initial Issue") and the implementation of a new placing programme of Ordinary Shares and/or C Shares (the "Placing Programme"), the Company announces the publication of a prospectus (the "Prospectus") containing full details of the Initial Issue and the Placing Programme.

The Prospectus will be available for viewing at the National Storage Mechanism at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism and the Company's website (https://www.polarcapitalglobalfinancialstrust.com).

A Circular, which contains the notice convening the General Meeting to be held at 9.00 a.m. on 16 June 2021 at 16 Palace Street, London, SW1E 5JD, has also today been posted to Polar Capital Global Financials Trust plc shareholders together with the Form of Proxy for voting on the Resolutions to be proposed at the General Meeting.
