GENERAL TEXT AMENDMENT

The following amendment has been made to the 'Compliance with Model Code' announcement released on 1 April 2014 at 12.51pm under RNS No. 7350D.

The publication of the half year results will occur on 9 May 2014, not 10 May 2014.

All other details remain unchanged.

Transactions in a close period statement and compliance with the Model Code

In accordance with Listing Rule 15.5.1(4) Polar Capital Global Healthcare Growth and Income Trust Plc ("the Company") announces that it is satisfied that all inside information which the Directors and the Company may have in periods leading up to an announcement of results has previously been notified to a RIS and accordingly the Company need not comply with the close period provisions of the Model Code in relation to the Company's ordinary and subscription shares during the period to the announcement of the results for the half year ended 31 March 2014.

The close period commenced on 1 April 2014 and is expected to end with the publication of the half year results on 9 May 2014.
