Polar Capital Global Healthcare Growth and Income Trust plc notifies the market of the following:

As at 28 February 2014, Polar Capital Global Healthcare Growth and Income Trust plc's capital consisted of 122,650,000 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence each.

Of these, 122,000,000 Ordinary Shares are in issue and 650,000 Ordinary Shares are held in Treasury.

Each Ordinary Share in issue carries one vote while Ordinary Shares held in Treasury have no voting rights. Therefore as at 28 February 2014, the total number of voting rights is 122,000,000.

The above figure (122,000,000) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in Polar Capital Global Healthcare Growth and Income Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
