Surrender of Share Option Award by a Director

Polar Capital Holdings PLC (the "Company") announces that today Tim Woolley, has surrendered for no consideration, in full, a market value share option  granted to him on 4 July 2013 under the Company's 2007 Executive Incentive Plan (the "Plan") over 500,000 ordinary shares in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at an exercise price per Ordinary Share of 388p.

Mr Woolley continues to hold share options as follows:
