ALLOTMENT OF SHARES

The Company announces the allotment of 300,000 ordinary shares of 25p each fully paid under its block listing facility. These shares were issued for cash on 6 September 2011 at a price of 314.4p per share.  The number of ordinary shares in issue is now 127,725,693.

The above figure (127,725,693) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Polar Capital Technology Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
