                         Notice of Preliminary Results

Polar Capital Technology Trust plc, the specialist technology investment trust,
will announce Preliminary Results for the 12 months ended 30 April 2006 on
Tuesday, 13 June 2006.

Brian Ashford-Russell together with Ben Rogoff and Craig Mercer of the
technology investment team, will hold a briefing for broking analysts at 9.30 am
at the offices of UBS, 1 Finsbury Avenue, London EC2M 2PP, followed by press
briefings later in the day.
