HENDERSON TECHNOLOGY TRUST PLC
Henderson Technology Trust plc ('HTT') announces that
Brian Ashford-Russell and Tim Woolley, HTT's principal
fund managers, have resigned as employees of Henderson
Investors Limited ('Henderson Investors'), the Company's
manager. They intend to establish a new investment
management company.
Mr Ashford-Russell's and Mr Woolley's employment with
Henderson Investors will terminate on or before 31
December 2000. The independent directors of HTT, who
comprise the Management Engagement Committee of the
Board, are committed to retaining the services of Mr
Ashford-Russell and Mr Woolley as HTT's fund managers and
have received confirmation from them that they would be
willing for their new company to become HTT's investment
manager once it is established and authorised under the
Financial Services Act. In the meantime, Henderson
Investors will remain as HTT's manager, with Mr Ashford-
Russell and Mr Woolley continuing to act as its fund
managers. Henderson Investors, Mr Ashford-Russell and Mr
Woolley have confirmed that continuity of management will
be ensured.
The Board of HTT have given notice to terminate HTT's
management contract with Henderson Investors pending the
outcome of discussions regarding a future relationship
between Henderson Investors and the new venture.
