Polar Capital Technology Trust Plc notifies the market of the following:

As at 1 August 2011, Polar Capital Technology Trust plc's capital consisted of 127,421,612 ordinary shares of 25 pence each and 25,284,590 subscription shares of 1 pence each.

Each ordinary share carries one vote while the subscription shares have no voting rights. Therefore as at 30 June 2011, the total number of voting rights is 127,421,612.

No shares are held in Treasury.

The above figure (127,421,612) may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to, their interest in Polar Capital Technology Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
