Poplar HARCA and Tower Hamlets Community Housing in Partnership discussions

Poplar HARCA Capital PLC (the Issuer)

£250,000,000 4.843 per cent. Secured Bonds due 2043 (the Bonds)

The boards of Poplar HARCA Group Limited ("Poplar") and Tower Hamlets Community Housing ("THCH") have today announced they are in early discussions to enter into a partnership. We are now formulating the business case which will include further due diligence and engagement with a range of stakeholders.

Poplar HARCA Limited is a Co-Operative and Community Benefit Society with registered number 7726 and a registered provider with registered number L4170.

Tower Hamlets Community Housing is a Co-Operative and Community Benefit Society with registered number 7791 and a registered provider with registered number L4260.

Between them, the two organisations own and manage over 13,000 homes in the Borough of Tower Hamlets. Both organisations share a clear vision for the future and are focused on providing excellent services, building strong local relationships and investing in safe and sustainable communities. The partnership offers the opportunity of a stronger organisation with enhanced financial resilience and greater social impact.
