                             Listing Application


Application has been made for 5,295 ordinary shares of 2p each in the Company
('Ordinary Shares') to be admitted to the Official List. The Ordinary Shares
are being issued pursuant to the exercise of options at an exercise price of
236.08p under the Company's Share Option Scheme 1986. Admission is expected to
become effective on 26 March 2001.
