Supply Agreement Win

Porvair PLC 13 June 2005 For immediate release 13 June 2005 Porvair plc ('Porvair') Porvair wins aviation fuel tank inerting supply agreement Porvair today announces that it has signed a supply agreement with Parker Hannifin Corp, one of the world's leading aviation component manufacturers, which is expected to generate at least $3m revenue in the first five years. The agreement is to supply filtration systems for Parker's aircraft fuel tank inerting systems to be fitted to a range of commercial aircraft from the middle of 2006. The elimination of flammable fuel vapours in commercial aircraft fuel tanks is one of the US National Transportation Safety Bureau's top priorities. Parker's lightweight aircraft fuel tank inerting system addresses this issue and can be easily fitted within existing aircraft designs. The system generates nitrogen enriched air from a stream of engine air and delivers it into the aircraft fuel tanks to reduce flammability. The Porvair filtration system ensures that the stream of engine air fed into the inerting system is free from particulate and any liquid droplets. Ben Stocks, CEO of Porvair plc said: 'We are delighted to have secured this contract with Parker Hannifin Corp. This is one of our key growth targets and we have been working closely with Parker for the last three years to develop this important new filter system. This contract continues our strategy of developing technologies for new applications and further strengthens our aerospace business.'
