Powerhouse Energy Group plc (AIM: PHE), the UK company pioneering integrated technology that converts non-recyclable waste into low carbon energy, is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor Karol Michal Kacprzak, aged 50, as a non-executive director of the Company with immediate effect.
Prof. Kacprzak is currently an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry at Adam Mickiewiez Univerisity in Poznan, Poland and has over 20 years' of academic experience. At Adam Mickiewiez Univerisity he was awarded a PhD with distinction in Organic Chemistry and an Msc in Environmental Chemistry.
Prof. Kacprzak is an expert in organic and medicinal chemistry, actively collaborating with the chemical industry and is also a member of the Polish Chemical Society. Between 2016 and 2020 Prof. Kacprzak acted as a CEO of Stomil-Poznan S.A., a State-owned tyre and rubber manufacturer in Poland.
