(PDMRs)

The Company was notified on 5 March 2008 of the following acquisition of Premier
Foods plc ordinary Shares of 1p each ('Shares') by a PDMR of the Company on 5
March 2008:

Robert Lawson, Commercial Director, acquired 1,094 Shares at £1.0248 per Share.
Following the acquisition his total holding is 30,137 Shares representing less
than 0.01% of the Company's issued capital.

In addition, Mr. Lawson's wife, Melanie Essex, acquired 5,327 Shares at £1.025
per Share. Following the acquisition her total holding is 8,071 Shares
representing less than 0.01% of the Company's issued capital.
