Directorate change

 

Premier Foods plc today announces that Simon Bentley, non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee, has notified the Company that he is resigning as a director, with immediate effect, to focus on his commercial and other interests.

 

The Company also announces that, following Simon's decision to step down from the Board, Tim Elliott will be appointed as Chair of the Audit Committee with immediate effect.

"I would like to thank Simon for his valuable contribution to the Board over the past four years, during which time the Group has made substantial progress on its strategic objectives and wish him well for the future."
