Disclosure of Interest in Share Capital

On 18 August 2004, the Company received notification by AXA Investment Manangers
UK Ltd that, as at 17 August 2004, AXA S.A. of 25 Avenue Matignon, 75008 Paris
and its Group Companies had a notifiable interest in 17,716,700 ordinary shares
in the Company representing 7.23% of the issued share capital. These shares were
represented by a beneficial interest of 12,980,000 shares (5.30%) and a
non-beneficial interest of 4,736,700 shares (1.93%).
