Disclosure of Interest in Share Capital

On 10 June 2005 the Company received notification by Axa Investment Managers UK
Limited of 7 Newgate Street, London,  EC1A 7NX that, as at 6 June 2005, AXA
S.A., 25 Avenue Matignon, 75008 Paris and its Group Companies were interested in
27,756,962 ord GBP 0.01 shares. These shares are represented by a beneficial
interest of 19,375,121 shares  (representing 7.91% of the issued share capital)
and a non-beneficial interest of 8,381,841 shares (representing 3.42%  of the
issued share capital). This notification of change is due to a decrease in the
beneficial interest holding from  8.48% to 7.91%. The shares were held as
follows:
